Sarah Onions and Laura Meloni Bywaters have been featured in the community newspaper which reaches 20,000 readers. The story was accompanied by a photo of Sarah and Laura which appears on their website slroman.com

The paper picked up on Sarah’s tour to the U.S. to promote One Year One Night which was written by the Surbiton writer and Laura, under the penname SL Roman.

The Good Life opened its story by joking about what was in Sarah’s luggage for her Stateside stint. The answer was a letter from Queen Camilla praising the authors for their ‘remarkable achievement’.

The letter from HRH was written from Birkhall on the Balmoral Estate.

Now the pair are working on their second Young Adult novel set in the same era of WW2, and featuring some of the same characters.
